MU16 began with a quiet question: how might an everyday object make time feel more present?

Valued for heat resistance, thermal shock resistance, and chemical stability, borosilicate glass is chosen for pieces that call for everyday resilience and clarity.

K9 Glass

Appreciated for clarity, brilliance, and decorative presence, K9 glass brings a luminous quality to sculptural forms and light-catching details.

Crystal Glass

In commercial usage, crystal glass refers to glass with a crystal-like appearance, prized for its refined clarity, shine, and ornamental character.

Our products may use K9 glass, crystal glass, or borosilicate glass. Each piece is hand-made — one of a kind. During the creation of hand-made crystal glass, a small number of bubbles may form. However, every cup undergoes multiple quality checks to ensure that the size, capacity, and even the bubbles are within standard, so that each piece you receive meets MU16’s exacting standards.
