What does emotion look like?

It is innate.

Manual work can create rainbow, make flow. It can create all that we imagine. We choose glass as storage vessel because it allows us to see what is inside, which means people can have a vision of its beauty while using it. Glass is the reflection of all. It is the superposition of refraction and an object’s visual light. It is the medium between the creator and us, the communication tool between us and ourselves, and the oneself condensed by all.

The manufacturing process of glass is how emotion choose to demonstrate itself.

In today’s mechanization, everyone in every city has become identical. It is a method of high efficiency and strong replication. It provides us with faster development, while makes us lose our unique personality. Our products persist in 100% pure manual manufacturing.

Handcrafted products are special and unique. Different state, mood and feeling are affecting the different subtle shapes of every same product. Like the bright moon hanging in the sky and the master-like sunset in Tuscany, all are circles that bring light, similar but not the same. It comes from a man’s hand, and returns to another’s, this is what we are doing. We refuse identical products brought by ice-cold machine. We prefer to create different emotions through men, and spread them to different places to express themselves.

Qi County of Shanxi Province is a city of glassware with a history that goes far back. We are lucky to locate our factory here where the best glass blowing masters of China congregate. Each master here has his/her own unique skills, and not every step of the creation relies on just one master. We are making our best effort to let each master give full play of their expertise. People can always get a sense of achievement in their field of expertise and turn it into joy and satisfaction. This kind of energy is bi-directional, both externally and internally. And we always believe that when a person is satisfied with what he/she has done, it will also be provided with a meaning of life. It is a truth that emotion is contagious.

We will not deliberately spread some kind of special emotion as it is a power which is hard to describe with language. Its appearance is in any form of transformation. Ice, water and fire, are all emotional forms of nature. They can be directly felt. While glass, doesn’t represent any. It can amplify our senses and lead us to what affects us. We can see another world through it; we can feel another scene through it; and only when we face it, can we see the true self of us.
